Nigeria U20 Midfielder Kingsley Michael Drops Hint On How Flying Eagles Will Play At WYC

Kingsley Michael says the Nigeria U20 team will surprise many when the World Youth Championship gets underway this weekend in Poland, reports.
Michael who won the U17 World Youth Championship with Nigeria in 2015 has since taken his trade abroad where he currently plays for Perugia on loan from Serie A side Bologna.

Listed among the midfielders, the 19 year old said he has seen enough talent in this team to shock the world at the tournament if they play the way the coaches want them to play at the tournament.

Tipped to play in a midfield three with the duo of Nnamdi Ofoborh and Tom Dele-Bashiru, Michael gave his opinion on their proposed partnership but insist that the coaches will have the final say on who gets to play.

” The key to having a successful tournament is to listen to our coaches. Coaches see more than us and the way we are training to play it will be hard for teams to find a way around us. I’m also enjoying my time in midfield with Tom and Nnamdi, however the coaches will have the final say on who will start on Saturday against Qatar “.
