Nigeria face Brazil In October

The Brazilian Football Confederation have confirmed that their senior national team will take on the Super Eagles in a friendly which will be played in Singapore on October 13.

It will be the second major meeting between the two continental powerhouses, with the South Americans beating Nigeria 3-0 in a previous game back in 2003 in Abuja courtesy of goals from Gil, Luís Fabiano and Adriano.

Five-time world champions Brazil are ranked second in the world, while Nigeria are 33rd.

This month, the Super Eagles were held to a 2-2 draw by hosts and better ranked Ukraine in a friendly played in Dnipro.
