Tottenham need time for squad to harmonize-Pochettino

Tottenham players look dejected after defeat by League Two side Colchester United

Mauricio Pochettino,Tottenham manager, says he needs time to overcome the "different agendas in the squad" after his side's Carabao Cup exit at League Two Colchester United according to BBC Sport

Tottenham lost 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw in the third-round tie.

Pochettino has spoken of his squad being "unsettled" this season ,

"We need time again to build that togetherness that you need when you are competing at this level," he said.

They are behind Premier League leaders, Liverpool, with 10 points after six matches this season,winning none of their five away fixtures, conceding twice in four of those games.

Tottenham's defeat at Colchester means Tottenham has lost one route to a first trophy of this season.
