Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last 10 LaLiga games against Athletic (W6 D4), keeping a clean sheet in the last three, since a defeat 0-1 at San Mamés in March 2015.

FC Barcelona v Real Sociedad

Barcelona are unbeaten in their last eight LaLiga games against Real Sociedad (W6 D2) since a 0-1 defeat at Reale Arena in April 2016.

Barcelona have won their last 22 home LaLiga games against Real Sociedad and could equal their longest ever winning run at home against them in the competition (23 between 1929 and 1961).

Barcelona have avoided defeat in their last 15 games at Camp Nou in LaLiga against Basque sides (W14 D1), scoring 41 goals and conceding only nine, since a defat 1-2 vs Alavés in September 2016.

Real Sociedad have lost their last two LaLiga games played on Wednesday after winning their previous three such games, and Barcelona have only lost one of their last 11 games played this day in the competition (W8 D2).

Real Sociedad have collected 26 points after their first 13 LaLiga 2020/21 games, their second highest score at this stage in the 21st century (29 in 2002/03, when they ended in the second place).

Barcelona have won their last three home LaLiga games, their best run under Ronald Koeman, after winning only two of their previous six at Camp Nou in the competition (D2 L2).
